Fire Chief Chuck Coyne

Chief Chuck Coyne began his career at Community Fire Protection District on December 16, 1990. He ascended through the ranks and became chief on October 29, 2008. He obtained his paramedic license and graduated from the St. Louis County Fire Academy in 1988. Chief Coyne has always appreciated growing his knowledge in firefighting and paramedicine. He obtained a bachelors degree in both paramedic technology (1996) and fire science (2002). Before starting his journey in the fire service, Chief Coyne went to Southeast Missouri State and graduated in 1980 with a bachelors degree in secondary education with a minor in biology. Chief Coyne taught 7th grade science at Hazelwood West Junior High and still holds a Missouri teaching certificate. The district looks forward to the continued growth under Chief Coyne.
